Okay, so I finally just watched the last episode of Torchwood Children of Earth. It’s taken me forever to get through the 5 episodes because every episode basically makes me want to die. Anyway, I think I may have just cried for 45 minutes straight. My eyes are actually swollen. Good god.

My English teacher accidentally put in one of my test grades as a 700/100. I’m not sure how because I got a 96, and 96 and 700 don’t have all that much in common. Anyway, I currently have a 350% in English. I don’t believe I’ve ever had a grade that high in a class hahah. I plan to give him a few days to notice it before I mention it.

I got a 1 on my solo at solo and ensemble today. I got a 1 on my ensemble as well. It’s been a good day. And yes, this is the solo I’ve been semi-freaking out, so I’m quite happy =]

What’s your solo?
Prelude by Gerald Finzi. It’s from Five Bagatelles. It’s not even that hard it’s just ahhhh. Too many key signatures and alternates and accidentals. There also are parts where you need to use an alternate, but when you do use it, it screws up the fingering for the next part....

I am currently regretting my choice of clarinet solo for solo and ensemble. I have to play it the Saturday after next, meaning that I have less than 2 weeks, and it still sucks. I haven’t even been able to practice with my accompanist yet because I can’t play it well enough to play with an accompanist.
Stress and frustration. That is all.

Anyone have any book recommendations? I have a giant list of books to read, but for some reason I’m not in the mood to read anything from it. I’m leaning toward realistic fiction at the moment, something well-written with well-developed characters. Anyway, any suggestions?

I kind of wish Grimm had a larger fandom. Mainly because there are almost no gifs, and I don’t make any myself. It’s just odd because Once Upon A Time started at just about the same time, and it has a pretty large fandom. Granted, the shows are absolutely nothing alike, but hey, they’re both based around fairytales.

Well, it’s been a good morning. It’s before 8 am, and I’ve already bought 3 books. Good Omens (which I’ve already read but I want a copy), Infinite Jest, and Tigana. I am quite thankful for Amazon gift cards. Sadly, I have to leave for school in 15 minutes. I’m so glad I don’t have a class first period this year.

I am slightly disturbed by the promo for the next episode of Supernatural. It gives me comfort that the Supernatural tag is filled with people expressing a similar sentiment. Also, since it apparently does not air until February 3rd, I have 3 weeks to wait to see if I’m missing something.
